Spa Baths & Grooming
Treat your pup to a calm, one-on-one-style experience where grooming feels more like a spa day than
a rushed appointment.
We begin with a gentle coat and skin evaluation, especially important on the Windward side of O‘ahu where sun, salt, humidity and beach time affect skin and coat.
We use hand-guided drying with quiet equipment (no high-decibel force dryer nozzles) and premium low-fragrance shampoos and conditioners chosen for your dog’s specific needs.
We finish with styling or trimming (breed-specific or “just-fresh” look), nail filing, and ear checks to leave your dog looking and feeling great.
Ideal for dogs of any size or breed who deserve care and attention—not a conveyor belt.
Nail Trims & Filing
Nail care is essential for comfort, posture, and overall wellbeing.
We do more than a quick clip: nails are trimmed and then filed smooth to avoid sharp edges and discomfort.
We also check paw pads and claws for hidden debris, especially for beach-going dogs. This service is available as a stand-alone appointment or can be added to any grooming service.
Special Skin & Coat Treatments
Some dogs need more than a standard bath. We offer tailored skin and coat treatments for sensitive skin, odor issues, surf and sun exposure, and other coat challenges.
We are happy to collaborate with your veterinarian when medicated or prescription shampoos are needed so grooming supports your dog’s overall care plan.
Options may include probiotic coat treatments, soothing conditioners for itchy skin, salt/surf protective sprays, and anti-tangle systems for beach and hiking dogs.
Hand Stripping & Show Coat Maintenance
For terriers, wire coats, and show dogs whose coats require specialized care.
Hand stripping preserves the texture and color of coarse or wire-coat breeds. Each dog is worked on in a calm, focused environment with a dedicated grooming team.
Show coat maintenance supports correct coat growth, presentation, and structure, whether you show competitively or simply love the classic look of a well-maintained coat.
These services are detail-driven; advance booking is strongly recommended.
Breed Specific Trims
Every breed has traditional trim patterns—and every dog has an individual personality and lifestyle.
We consult with you at check-in about coat goals, lifestyle (beach, hiking, couch), and maintenance level. Then we customize the trim accordingly.
We apply low-stress techniques and team-supported handling so the trim is not just “done”—it’s done right for your dog.
We’ll also share care tips so you can keep the coat looking and feeling good between visits.
Deshedding Service
Shedding happens—especially in Kailua’s warm, humid, beach-friendly climate. Our de-shedding service helps reduce loose undercoat, improve comfort, and cut down on hair at home.
We begin with a coat and skin check to determine how much undercoat your dog has and whether there are any tangles, mats, or irritation.
We use heavy-duty but gentle shampoos and conditioners selected for de-shedding and coat health, followed by quiet finishing techniques to remove loose undercoat and fluff the coat.
Ideal for double-coated dogs, seasonal heavy shedders, and any pup whose coat traps extra sand, salt, and debris.

At your first visit, we take time to understand your dog’s personality, grooming history, coat type, beach and activity level, and any sensitivities or concerns.
Your dog will be cared for by a consistent grooming team in a quiet, calm setting. No chaotic intake, no assembly-line holding.
At pickup, we review what we did, how your dog responded, and how to maintain coat health between visits. First impressions matter. We work to make sure your dog’s first experience sets the tone for a lifetime of easier grooming.
